Rehearsals have officially begun for Ballarat National Theatre’s upcoming production of God of Carnage, with the cast and crew gathering for their first read-through and induction earlier this month.
Directed by Ruby Abbott in her full-length debut, this razor-sharp comedy by Yasmina Reza explores the chaos that unfolds when two couples meet to discuss a playground incident and civility gives way to carnage.
The cast includes Samantha White, Benj Beatty, Melissa Lawrence, and Tim Constantine, who are already bringing the tension (and humour) to life.
God of Carnage runs October 16–19 at the Ballarat Mechanics’ Institute.
