BPAC Opening Gala
Congratulations and thank you to the BNT members who performed and volunteered at the BPAC Opening Gala in May.
BPAC is the Ballarat Performing Arts Community, currently fundraising to purchase and restore the old Uniting Church on Neill St to make it a community performing arts space. BNT is one of many member organisations which also includes Ballarat Lyric Theatre, Royal South Street Society, Ballarat Choral Society, Ballarat Symphony Orchestra, Ballarat Voices, Ballarat Arts Foundation, Ballarat Centre for Music and The Arts Arts, BLOC Music Theatre, Vogel Pianos, Stages by Creatives, Ballarat Arts Alive and Victoria Opera. BPAC has a notable number individual performer members as well.
The BPAC Opening Gala included performance from a significant portion of member organisations resulting in a concert with incredible variety including drama, choral, symphony, live bands and a wonderful audience sing-a-long. BNT members performed skits and monologues throughout the production representing BNT, and BNT member Hedley Thomson also did his own performance of a piece of Henry Lawson as well.
