2025 BNT Bunnings BBQ Fundraiser

A big thank you to all our volunteers who took part in the Bunnings BBQ sausage sizzle on Saturday 17 June. The weather was not for the faint of heart, being very cold, wet, and a little windy. Volunteers stayed dry around the hot BBQ in the marquee and customers were eager for a hot sausage to warm them up.

Thanks to Ruby Abbott who did a fantastic job organising everyone for the day, coordinating the volunteer schedule and making sure we had enough people to help, and volunteering herself. Thanks also to Colin Abbott for both volunteering on the day and helping with preparation needed for it all to happen. Thanks to Tony Potter for the surprise custom aprons that he made with the BNT logo front and centre which made chatting to customers about BNT easier. Thanks to Jo Kruse for the bread donation, essential to partner with the fundraising sausages. Thanks to Tors and Warren Silvey for loaning their eskis for the day which stored our ice and cans of drink for the brave customers who wanted an even colder drink than the weather.

Also thank you to Coles Wendouree for the $50 gift voucher to support our fundraising day.

This fundraiser is a valuable one the contributes in a powerful way to our community. Funds raised enable us to keep doing what we do together, opening up opportunities to create together and connect.
