Ballarat National Theatre

By Anita Loos

Directed by Don Fraser

From BNT newsletter July 1967

Members are reminded that our season for each play has been extended for one night, making eight public performances available.  The first public performance will be given on Friday August 18 and performances given each night till Saturday August 26.

Gigi is a very amusing play set in Paris in 1900 and we are sure that Don Fraser and his hard-working cast will provide an entertaining evening of live theatre.  Please remind your friends to keep one night free to attend the theatre next month.

From BNT newsletter September 1967

Our third production in our 1967 season Gigi was well received and was financially successful.  We congratulate all members concerned in the production, on its success and thank them for their hard work and time given so willingly to ensure success.  We also thank them for their participation in the 3 act play section of the 1967 South Street Competitions and congratulate them on winning the award of third place.
