From BNT newsletter September 1971

Congratulations to Andrea Knight and her team on a very professional production of J.B. Priestley’s drama. Beautifully gowned, splendidly acted and presented against one of the most attractive sets we’ve ever seen on our stage, this play won us a lot of friends.

Robert and Jean Durez made an impressive debut. Stuart Maiden and Peter Bromley were excellent in their characterizations of difficult roles, and were ably supported by Barbara Fraser, Marilyn McIver and Dorothy Bell. Set design by Peter Nethercote drew many commendatory comments. More about Peter later on in this bulletin.

Did you realise that this was Andrea’s first full-length production? There’s no denying it was an auspicious beginning.
